Hannah Joins Top Ballet School

A talented Hazelwood student is celebrating after winning a place at one of the UK’s leading ballet schools.
Hannah Cooke, 15, who has trained at Hazelwood Dance Studios since the age of 7, will be taking up a coveted place at Northern Ballet School in Manchester this September. For several years it has been Hannah’s dream to pursue a career as a professional ballet dancer and she was delighted when she heard the good news.
“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to study dance full time. Hazelwood has set me on the path and now I’m looking forward to the next challenge.”
At Northern Ballet School Hannah will be studying Classical Ballet and Musical Theatre in her first year and will specialise in classical ballet during her second and third year.
